Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Software Engineer to join our Centre for Digital Innovations in Health and Social Care at the University of Bradford.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering our flagship research programmes, working collaboratively with Centre staff to deliver projects with a strong computational component.

Key responsibilities include participating in the development of external research funding proposals, contributing to writing internationally leading outputs in top-tier journals, and developing and delivering training on all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of continuing professional development training for NHS staff in digital roles and those working in digital health companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with Centre staff to deliver projects with a strong computational component

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, research, and collaboration. A degree in a relevant field and experience in software development are essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
