Job Summary

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management of nursing staff and resources within the Urgent Care department. This will include:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Managing nursing resources and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Providing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nurse (Level 1 or 2) qualification
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Teaching or assessing qualification
  • Degree level education
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
