Job Title: Learning Support Assistant with SEN

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Canon Slade School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support and supervise students with SEN under the direction of the Head of Inclusion and/or Deputy Head Inclusion.
  • Deliver effective lesson plans to ensure continuity and progression of student learning.
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with opportunities to achieve their individual potential.
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment throughout the Academy.
  • Motivate students to work hard and try their best.
  • Share best practices and seek ways to improve your own and others' teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all students are engaged in their learning, regardless of their starting point or individual needs.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 3:35pm, with an additional 1 hour per week for training. This includes a 50-minute unpaid break daily.
