Job Title: Installation Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our team at FNC Recruitment Ltd. As an Installation Security Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems in line with customer requirements and current standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install various security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and access control systems, both locally and nationally.
  • Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of security systems, including fire alarm systems.
  • Understand client needs and fulfill all job requirements.
  • Update documentation, including site schematics and drawings, as applicable.
  • Apply updates and accurate descriptions of works completed via SIMPRO to inform the office of progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a multi-disciplined engineer with a good all-round knowledge of security systems.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience of front-line customer service is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally with occasional hotel stays.

  • Paid overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the normal rate.

Please note that due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete several background checks, including a credit check, five-year referencing history, and DBS check.
