Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bird Bellows. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the probation process, ensuring that managers are aware of review meetings and letters are issued accordingly.
- Administer the leaver process, ensuring that resignations are acknowledged in a timely manner and that the line manager is aware of the process and any outstanding annual leave is calculated in accordance with the employee's terms and conditions.
- Ensure that all HR administration is prepared for both monthly and weekly staff, and forward all associated documentation to the payroll officer, including contract variations, new starters, leavers, and staff benefits.
- Ensure that the HR database accurately reflects current staff details.
- Provide reports from the HR database for auditing and monitoring employee data.
- Administer and maintain company benefits, such as health insurance, eye care, and long service awards.
- Ensure that all work activities and records comply with company policies, procedures, and codes of practice.
- Support the company to improve health and safety activities by following HSE policies and procedures and raising observations where appropriate.
Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
- Level 3 CIPD qualification – Associate CIPD.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a range of administration tasks, accurate and highly organized.
- High levels of emotional intelligence.
