In the role of Geography Teacher, you will be instrumental in providing captivating and interactive lessons that illuminate the complexities of our world. You will guide students in exploring geographical principles and global challenges, fostering their understanding and appreciation of the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Design and execute engaging lesson plans that cultivate a passion for geography.
- Evaluate and track student performance, offering constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for assessments and assist them in reaching their potential.
- Collaborate with the Geography department to create educational resources.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and field excursions to enrich learning experiences.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to support student growth.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Geography or a related discipline.
- Experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- Strong skills in classroom management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for Geography and education.
