About the Role

As a Senior Kitchen Manager at Wagamama, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire back-of-house operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead a team of junior chefs, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to help them grow and succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, stock control, and labor management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality
  • Lead and motivate a team of junior chefs, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with the kitchen management team to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, including labor, inventory, and utilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
