Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking an ideal candidate for a Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice position. We are looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who can pick up extra temporary work in factories across the UK or in their local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of planned preventative maintenance and suggest improvements to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Responsible for mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Ensure effective and timely incident/accident reporting, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Required Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds, equivalent education (NVQ), or recognized apprenticeship (ideally electrically biased).
  • Engineering experience in a similar operation, including parcel handling, FMCG/manufacturing.
  • Experience with inverter drives, SCADA control, Profibus, ASi, and PC/PLC control would be advantageous.
  • UK driver's license.
