Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all dishes are prepared promptly and meet the established standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with the daily menu and your responsibilities related to it.
  • Adhere to excellent food hygiene practices throughout the entire food preparation and service process.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and COSHH regulations within the kitchen and all food and beverage outlets.
  • Minimize waste by following proper control methods.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order; report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef.
  • Ensure the kitchen is always ready for service.
  • Follow company procedures in line with internal audit requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage of all food items and compliance with delivery protocols.
  • Practice energy efficiency within the department by turning off equipment and lights when not in use.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Assist in stock management, ordering, and auditing processes.
  • Actively engage in training opportunities both on and off the job.
