Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Accountant to join our team at Accountable Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports for subsidiary companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Consolidation and Analysis: Consolidate forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, and provide supplementary group reporting, including cash flow and net working capital analysis.
  • Inter-Company Reconciliations: Manage and reconcile inter-company transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Management Reporting: Coordinate and prepare management reporting packs, providing timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Tax Compliance: Handle corporation tax accounting and submissions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate the annual external audit process, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations.
  • Team Support: Provide training and guidance to the Management Accounts team, and support with technical finance matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience: Proven experience in audit and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and influence colleagues at all levels.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
