Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions
  • Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
  • Design, customize, configure, and test PP
  • End-user training and create required documentation
  • Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions
  • Act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve problems
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
  • Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in a full-cycle implementation as well as in support projects
  • Designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and CO experience is an asset)
  • Experience with shop floor processing functions in SAP and Production Planning
  • Required experience in discrete & Repetitive manufacturing and process like MTO & MTS, variant config, and ECM, Batch & Serial Number Management
  • Business Process understanding of Interface between different IT Applications like (MES, PLM) and its integration with ECC
  • Understanding of business processes of Supply Chain Management
  • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with Auto Industry business processes
