The Role
The BACS Administrator will support the BACS Manager in the administration of the BACS process for Azets, Blick Rothenberg, and new acquisitions. The BACS function is a vital part of the business that needs to be run efficiently while complying with regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely processing of daily BACS files to agreed deadlines
* Responsible for all administration connected to BACS
* To maintain the clients linked to the Bureau and request lost clients are unlinked
* To set up and maintain service users on BACS software
* To provide 1st line of support for payroll teams with BACS related queries
* Assist management in maintaining and developing internal procedures, checklists, and guidance notes
* Produce, analyze, and maintain BACS reports and statistics
Requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems-based work
* A natural ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask with little supervision
* Be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment
* Develop own professional expertise through on-the-job training, formal training, and, where appropriate, professional qualifications
