Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team at Intec, a market-leading financial services organisation. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing a client-facing tool to improve user experience and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement user-facing features using React and TypeScript
  • Develop reusable UI components with Storybook
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Integrate data visualisation elements for presenting complex financial information clearly and effectively
  • Make REST API calls to retrieve and update data from backend services
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the front-end codebase
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Storybook for building UI components
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
