Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Chandler Harris Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and hire of our non-mechanical access equipment, primarily scaffolding equipment, to small and large contractors in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and hire targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including main and sub-contractors
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base
  • Work closely with our depot/branch teams to ensure seamless sales and hire processes
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of the scaffolding industry and its key players
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
