Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst to join our team at T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale, strategic transformation program focused on remodeling and enhancing our Fixed Income capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to conduct analysis and produce detailed project artifacts, including requirements documents, process maps, and testing artifacts.
  • Build subject matter expertise across key Investments businesses, processes, and systems to effectively represent Investments in various projects.
  • Lead collaborative partnerships and dialog across multiple business units and functions.
  • Actively promote alignment and compliance with related programs and projects across Legal, Compliance, and the wider firm.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and budgets, consisting of multiple, concurrent projects with multiple deliverables and components across a multi-year period.
  • Proactively work with sponsors to identify, approve, and prioritize all projects and deliverables throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Facilitate project discussions and meetings, ensuring they are task-oriented and objective-driven.
  • Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
  • Facilitate operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Assess and resolve high-priority project risks as they are encountered.
  • Escalate risks and issues to investment leadership as appropriate.
  • Manage projects according to established methodology and standards.
  • Continually update relevant business stakeholders on project status and publish project status reports as needed.
  • Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums.
  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall and integrated delivery plan.
  • Ensure the project meets success parameters and business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of Asset Management experience.
  • 4+ years of Front Office Investment Management project delivery experience.
  • 4+ years of Front Office Investment Management business analyst experience.
  • Proven experience of producing professional Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and supporting testing in Investments projects.
  • Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience working with senior management in formal presentations, escalations, and issue resolutions.
  • Excellent Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio skills.
Preferred:
  • Good understanding of and experience of Fixed Income gained from a major role in a front office Investments project.
  • Led a team of business analysts, producing business requirements documents and other detailed documentation in a major front office strategic program.
