In the role of Recruitment Specialist, you will be tasked with crafting and executing effective hiring strategies aimed at attracting and securing exceptional talent. This position encompasses candidate sourcing, evaluation, and management throughout the recruitment lifecycle, while also promoting our employer brand and ensuring a positive experience for all candidates, thereby supporting our organizational growth through collaboration with essential stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage top-tier talent through innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Develop proactive talent pipelines and maintain ongoing engagement with potential candidates.
  • Utilize various platforms, including job boards and professional networks, for sourcing and headhunting efforts.
  • Oversee candidates through our applicant tracking system, ensuring a premium candidate experience.
  • Conduct preliminary screenings and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and provide constructive feedback to hiring teams.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create tailored recruitment strategies with clear objectives.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including necessary vetting procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners as needed.
  • Engage with educational institutions and professional networks to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and KPIs to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate offers and manage the candidate acceptance process.
  • Support internal mobility initiatives and contribute to succession planning efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, whether in-house or agency, preferably within scientific or technical fields.
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities across various platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and basic reporting practices.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess situations quickly.
  • Effective decision-making skills in ambiguous or uncertain scenarios.
  • Robust problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
