Nursery Room Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Flow Sports Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery, ensuring a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to provide high-quality care and education to children aged [insert age range].
- Develop and implement engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of all children, including those with special educational needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure seamless communication and a consistent approach to childcare.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
- Enhanced DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable adults and children.
