About the Role

We are seeking an experienced evaluation leader to join our team at ICF Olson as a Consulting Director. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of environmental policy and evaluate its impact in the real world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and direct a portfolio of evaluation studies on government policies related to environmental policy, climate change, and sustainability.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our evaluation service offer for government agencies, working with our senior leadership.
  • Provide technical, management, and development support to colleagues who are at an earlier stage of career progression.
Requirements
  • A strong track record in the design and delivery of environmental policy evaluations, research, and analysis for government agencies.
  • An expert understanding of the theory and application of impact and/or process evaluation methods in accordance with Magenta Book guidance.
  • Experience of leadership in a consulting or similar project-based environment.
  • Strong project management and commercial skills and expertise in business or major programme leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
