Our client is seeking to recruit a Children's Safeguarding Nurse Consultant to enhance their team.


This role involves providing essential child protection guidance, support, and training to personnel within the Children's Health sector.


Role Overview:


Deliver a thorough liaison service for children under 19 and their families, ensuring seamless care services and making suitable recommendations for service enhancement.

Offer expert advice on child protection matters to staff within Children's Health, collaborating with other safeguarding leaders and members of the Children and Young People's Services (CYPS) team to guarantee safety and quality in service provision.

Establish effective communication channels with multi-agency partners to foster collaboration, enhancing the welfare of children, including Early Help Coordinators and other leaders responsible for the Team Around the Child and Neighbourhood Action Meetings.


Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Health Visitor or School Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
Proven knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and child protection practices.
Experience in supervising both qualified and unqualified staff.

What We Offer:

Compensation:
£27 - £35 per hour

Initial contract with potential for extension
Standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
