Senior BREEAM Assessor/Sustainability Consultant

Join our team at Beeby Anderson Recruitment as we seek a highly skilled Senior BREEAM Assessor/Sustainability Consultant to drive our Sustainability team forward.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in BREEAM and sustainability consultancy to lead our team in delivering high-quality services to clients. As a Senior BREEAM Assessor/Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in driving projects and enhancing client relationships while maintaining a strong focus on identifying and developing new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake BREEAM and Well and Fitwel assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage multiple projects on budget and in a timely manner, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the Sustainability consultant and BREEAM AP, working closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to deliver key sustainability objectives.
  • Provide high-quality consultancy services, offering clear and applicable guidance and recommendations to help projects realize their potential.
  • Assist in the delivery of sustainability strategies, including sustainability benchmarks, statements, circular economy, and health and well-being initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop compelling sustainability-associated presentations, contributing to the built environment sector.
  • Commit to Continual Professional Development by engaging with technical journals, attending relevant seminars, and participating in in-house training sessions.
Requirements
  • Accredited and experienced BREEAM Assessor and/or BREEAM AP.
  • Relevant BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in an environmental or construction discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in undertaking building environmental assessments and certifications, such as BREEAM, WELL, and Fitwel.
  • Knowledge of building performance and LCA tools.
  • Understanding of thermal modeling and building physics studies, including daylight studies, thermal comfort, and overheating studies.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and project management in a consulting environment.
