A unique opportunity has arisen within a well-respected Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, operating from their North West offices.

In the role of Electrical Compliance Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with Senior Project Managers and/or the Departmental Manager, ensuring adherence to industry standards.


Your responsibilities will include providing essential technical support and maintaining communication with clients across the contract portfolio regarding our accreditation.


  • Offer guidance to engineers and management on technical and electrical issues, particularly concerning industry standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations executed by the company to guarantee compliance with the IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and relevant accreditation standards.
  • Review electrical certifications issued by both in-house engineers and subcontractors to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including Minor Works and Installation Certificates, upon the conclusion of electrical installations or modifications.
  • Deliver technical assistance and support across all facets of electrical work.
  • Perform post-audits of electrical work conducted by engineers, including subcontractor partners, as needed.
  • Monitor compliance regarding engineers' electrical testing equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports detailing compliance status and necessary actions, ensuring that any legislative changes are communicated to senior management.
  • Develop toolbox talks focused on Electrical Works and Certification.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Possession of Electrical Inspection and Testing C&G or equivalent (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of appointment).
  • Valid British driving license.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Extensive experience in both commercial and industrial settings.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent training.
