About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Team Leader. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of support workers to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to our service users.
  • Act as a role model for staff, promoting a positive and empowering culture within the team.
  • Engage with service users and staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance their lives and skills.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans and activities.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders while respecting confidentiality.
  • Accurately record and maintain notes and records as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with complex individuals and a Level 3 diploma in health and social care.
  • Positive behaviour training and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of working with complex people and the challenges they face.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team.
  • A passion for working with vulnerable adults and a commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
