About the Role
We are looking to expand our team with skilled Financial Crime Investigators who will play a vital role in safeguarding our clients and organization against financial misconduct. In this engaging position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our financial ecosystem by conducting essential checks and thorough investigations on both new applicants and existing customers. Your contributions will be crucial in upholding the integrity and safety of our operations. We offer the flexibility to choose your preferred work location, either in our vibrant office or remotely.
Your work schedule will consist of three days in the office and the option to work remotely for the remaining days. The role encompasses a standard 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. Additionally, you will work one full weekend every four weeks, with two weekdays off in lieu, ensuring you have ample time to recharge.Your Team's Objectives
- Safeguard our customers and society by preventing fraud and financial misconduct.
- Adhere to financial crime regulations and company policies.
- Minimize friction for customers and applicants through skilled and timely decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for enhancements in products and processes.
- Support new application assessments and monitor existing customers.
- Conduct transaction monitoring reviews and document reports on suspicious activities.
- Investigate potential Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanctions matches, and assist with onboarding evaluations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
- Possess an analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities and excellent writing skills for documenting decisions and Suspicious Activity Reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers and applicants when necessary.
- Exhibit proficient time management skills, comfortable meeting targets and deadlines.
- Previous experience in financial crime is advantageous, particularly in Transaction Monitoring and Suspicious Activity Reports.
