Deputy Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Development: Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, focusing on talent identification, training, and coaching.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring seamless execution of business processes and maintaining excellent store standards.
- Customer Experience: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective merchandising and visual displays.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Support the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, minimizing risk and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Management Experience: Proven track record of managing medium to large-sized teams in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen, with a deep understanding of retail operations, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
