SEMH Tutor Job Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Tutor to provide one-to-one support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Doncaster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome barriers and achieve academic success.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure individual learning plans are followed and adapted to meet student's unique needs.
  • Provide emotional and academic support to students, creating a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized strategies to promote learning and growth for students with special needs.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in education.
  • Experience working with students who have SEMH needs or special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to support students' emotional and educational progress.
