Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement engaging learning environments and activities that promote children's development and well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the individual needs of each child are met
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality care and education
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized UK/overseas childcare qualification
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Already have been granted a Skilled Worker visa and be working in the UK
