About the Role

We are seeking a strong leader to manage Colne Library, a vital service that provides spaces for people to feel safe and secure, where generations of all ages can meet freely in a public place and where learning can be encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in offering a high-quality library and information service
  • Manage and supervise the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events and activities, monitoring performance as you go
  • Support and encourage customers to access online information and resources, for example accessing free eBooks and newspaper apps or helping someone find reliable information, such as applying for a passport
  • Work with a range of partners and volunteers to deliver library services
