Dietitian Specialist Band 6

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team at Cygnet Brunel, a 32-bed male Neuropsychiatric service in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dietetics and experience working in either a neurorehabilitation or mental health setting.
About the RoleThis is a Band 6/7 equivalent position, suitable for an established dietitian or someone transitioning to this level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in policy development, audit, research activities, pathway development, staff and student training at both a local and national level.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality dietetic care to patients with acquired brain injury or neurodegenerative disease
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to support patient recovery and well-being
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- Experience working in an in-patient setting and/or in the field of neurorehabilitation or neurodegenerative conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and passion for working in mental health
