About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Trainee Bus Driver to join our team at Stagecoach East Midlands. As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and contributing to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our routes, schedules, and services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Have a patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving.
  • Be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Be willing to undergo regular training and assessments to ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
