About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Dartford Community Team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality social care services to adults with a range of care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake complex assessments, including Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Assessments, and Court of Protection applications.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs of individuals and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare and voluntary sector partners, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's practice, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker who can demonstrate post-qualification experience in Social Services, Health-related agencies, or related private or voluntary organisations. You will hold a registration with Social Work England and be competent to work at the Advanced Practitioner level of the Professional Capabilities Framework for Registered Practitioners.

You will have experience of managing risk and completing safeguarding enquiries, as well as expertise in the supervision and development of staff, including performance management.
