Job Title: Mobile HV Authorised Person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile HV Authorised Person to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing SME support and governance for HV and LV operations on our PAM account and other Corporate Sector accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, and apply them practically in the workplace.
  • Operate, isolate, discharge, and prove dead systems and equipment within specified limits.
  • Prepare, issue, and cancel safety documentation in accordance with safety rules.
  • Verify the competence of personnel in charge of work and ensure they have adequate knowledge of equipment and procedures.
  • Visit work sites to identify potential risks and ensure control measures are in place.
  • Advise on the use of Tagout or Permit to Work systems, and ensure all personnel are aware of procedures.
  • Carry out assessments of Authorised Persons and Competent/Skilled Persons to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Recommend the appointment of Competent/Skilled Persons to the Controlling/Contract Manager.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and report any deficiencies.
  • Ensure all systems and installations are operated and maintained in a safe condition.

Requirements:

  • A suitably qualified and trained employee with at least 5 years electrical experience.
  • A valid HV AP Certification via an approved training provider.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • Experience of working within a critical infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively, as well as working within a team.
  • Full Clean Driving License.
  • Conversant with standard IT systems/packages such as Microsoft office, SharePoint, Teams, and Third-Party systems.
