Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

Location: Greater London

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Performing scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks within their area of expertise as assigned by the Scheduler or relevant manager.
  • Conducting gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks, including thorough testing upon completion.
  • Managing the procurement of supplier parts through purchase orders.
  • Overseeing van inventory as necessary.
  • Participating in the designated out-of-hours call-out rota.
  • Offering recommendations and solutions to address faults and maintenance challenges.
  • Taking measurements, estimating labor, and identifying material needs for subsequent work via the reporting system.
Requirements:
  • Essential Domestic & Commercial Gas ACS qualifications.
  • Basic proficiency in technology, including email and tablet use for internal software.
  • A valid full driving license is required.
  • A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and practices is essential.
  • Capability to work at heights.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
  • Availability for emergency call-outs, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
