Borders Buses operates a network of bus routes across various regions, providing a vital service to the community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bus Driver to join our team at our busy depot. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers.

To be successful in this role, you must have a UK driving licence and be aged 19 or over. You will also need to have been driving for 6 months.

The training is free, up to the value of £2,500, which includes your theory and practical tests, travelling expenses, and accommodation (conditions apply). We will support you through your training journey and provide ongoing training once you achieve your PCV licence.

If you already have a PCV licence, we have both part-time and full-time opportunities available with a range of shift options. We can also help you update your CPC if it's not up-to-date.

Your responsibilities as a Bus Driver will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers
  • Working confidently on your own and handling cash responsibly
  • Processing card payments and providing a high level of customer satisfaction
