About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Solicitor to join our team at LAW Absolute. As a Childcare Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and representation to our clients in childcare matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public law, child protection, and adoption. You will be responsible for undertaking research, providing advice, and representing our clients in court proceedings. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in childcare matters, including public law care proceedings, adoption, and child protection.
  • Undertake research and prepare legal documents for court proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court, including in the Family Court and Court of Appeal.
  • Work closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in childcare law and practice, and apply this knowledge to your work.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX of England and Wales with a current practising certificate. You will also need to have a strong background in childcare law and experience of working in a similar role.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will be committed to delivering a high-quality service to our clients and will be passionate about making a positive difference in their lives.
