Role Summary:

Uniting Ambition is in search of a skilled Solution Architect to spearhead the enhancement of an existing Order Management System (OMS). With the current system nearing its end-of-life, the goal is to optimize the existing Salesforce and SAP platforms to create a resilient, future-ready solution rather than developing a new system from the ground up.

As a Solution Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design a scalable and integrated solution that fully utilizes the capabilities of both Salesforce and SAP. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to ensure that the solution aligns with strategic objectives and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Design: Create and develop a comprehensive solution for the new Order Management System utilizing Salesforce and SAP, ensuring it meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs, challenges, and goals, translating these into technical specifications.
  • Workshops & Engagement: Participate in onsite workshops to gather insights, present solutions, and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback.
  • System Integration: Ensure effective integration between Salesforce, SAP, and other relevant systems within the IT ecosystem.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and technical standards.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration workflows, and system specifications.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the solution design and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive Experience: Proven track record as a Solution Architect with a focus on Order Management Systems, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with a history of designing and implementing effective solutions.
  • SAP Knowledge: Strong background in SAP, particularly in areas pertinent to order management, supply chain, and integration.
  • Integration Expertise: Experience in integrating Salesforce with SAP and other enterprise systems, utilizing tools such as SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Demonstrated capability to conduct workshops, gather requirements, and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
