Starting Salary: £36,000 - £37,500 (OTE £38,480 - £43,450, role dependent)

About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced registered physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Assessor (Physiotherapist) in a hybrid role based out of Durham. As a Clinical Assessor, you will use your clinical knowledge and expertise to assess, discuss, and create detailed reports on how patients' conditions impact daily living by conducting telephone and face-to-face assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong Report Writing and Communication Skills: You will be responsible for writing detailed reports on patients' conditions and communicating effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Organisation and Time Management Skills: You will need to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Typing Proficiency and IT System Navigation Skills: You will be required to have strong typing skills and be proficient in using IT systems.
  • Commitment to Integrity and Delivering a High-Quality Service: You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity and deliver a high-quality service to patients and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
  • Current and Unrestricted HCPC Registration: You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have a current and unrestricted registration.
  • Registered Physiotherapist: You must be a registered physiotherapist with a recognized professional body.
  • Experience in a Similar Role: You must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the NHS or private healthcare providers.
