A leading engineering firm with over a decade of extensive experience in large-scale renewable energy construction projects. The company provides a wide array of services, including project oversight, design, feasibility studies, procurement, construction, and ongoing maintenance.

Position Summary

The successful applicant will possess a solid history of managing solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, along with robust technical expertise and a proven ability to complete projects within established timelines and budgets.

Key Duties:

  • Interpret and analyze civil and electrical schematics.
  • Extract essential details from plans and communicate them to relevant stakeholders and site teams.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for commenting on or adjusting drawings as necessary.
  • Conduct quality assurance and inspections on-site work.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Effectively manage civil and electrical subcontractors.
  • Ensure subcontractors meet project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Work Programs (PoW), Progress Reports, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control documentation.
  • Maintain organized and systematic project cost management.
  • Comprehend the project lifecycle and work sequences on-site.
  • Adapt work as needed and utilize on-site resources to fulfill project deadlines and client requirements.
  • Anticipate potential on-site challenges and proactively mitigate them.
  • Assist site teams with the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Foster effective communication with site teams and clients.
  • Address client inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering solar projects with string and central inverters.
  • Proven experience in BESS project delivery utilizing CATL, Ener1, Ener C, Sungrow batteries, etc.
  • Familiarity with communication, signal, and fire panel schematics and equipment requirements for BESS projects.
  • Exhibit a problem-solving attitude and the capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driving license is essential.
  • Relevant industry qualifications or a Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in managing project costs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the renewable energy industry.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
