We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Mackenzie Jones IT. This role is essential in providing support to our educational institution, assisting over 65 staff members with their IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff members.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 11/10 and Office 365.
- Support end-user devices including laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets.
- Handle hardware and software installations, configurations, and deployments.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, SSL, and IPSec.
- Familiarity with wireless switches (Cisco/Ubiquity) is a plus.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like InTune.
- Knowledge of audio/visual equipment including projectors and interactive displays.
- Understanding of security measures including firewalls, antivirus, and web filters.
Working Hours:
This position requires onsite presence during term time from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility during school holidays.
