Job Title: LGV C+E Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LGV C+E driver to join our heavy haulage, automotive, and bulk haulage teams. As a driver with Metcalfe Farms Haulage Ltd, you will be responsible for transporting a variety of goods across the UK and Europe, including abnormal loads, trucks, vans, and bulk loads. You will work safely, comply with health and safety legislation, and insist others do the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a variety of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and bulk loads, across the UK and Europe.
  • Transport abnormal loads, including plant, machinery, and bulk goods.
  • Work safely, comply with health and safety legislation, and insist others do the same.
  • Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Work away from home, including 4 to 5 nights out a week, and weekends when required.
  • Use Microsoft and Outlook to manage tasks and communicate with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid C+E driving licence.
  • Hold a current Driver CPC card.
  • Hold a digital tachograph card.
  • Knowledge of driver hours regulations.
  • Experience in moving plant, machinery, or bulk would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided.
