Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Fellow to join our team at the University of Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in respiratory medicine and cough research.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a series of experimental medicine studies embedded within the Respiratory theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. These studies will investigate the role of ATP release in the airways and activity in the central nervous system of patients with refractory chronic cough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical support for the studies, including bronchoscopic sampling
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and analysis of the studies
  • Collaborate with the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility at Wythenshawe Hospital
  • Work closely with the University of Manchester Cough Research Team
