Job Title: Health and Safety and Premises Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Health and Safety and Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including the coordination of repairs and maintenance work.
  3. Ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  4. Line manage the site team and other operational staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Develop and implement systems to manage and maintain our facilities, including the use of technology and other tools.
  6. Work with contractors and other external partners to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
  7. Monitor and report on the condition of our facilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of health and safety management and facilities maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle, with the ability to travel between sites as needed.
