Senior Chemist Opportunity

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemist to lead laboratory activities and drive process improvements in an innovative chemical etching company based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee laboratory operations, including routine testing and equipment calibration.
  • Monitor process control parameters and take corrective action to maintain chemistries within specified limits.
  • Develop a deep understanding of chemical reactions involved in the etching process.
  • Apply mass balance calculations to optimize dosing rates of chemistries in etching machines.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the laboratory.
  • Conduct research and development trials to enhance processes and develop new technologies.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytical chemistry, oxidation-reduction reactions, and acid-base reactions.
