- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage payroll budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll expenses.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure payroll team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including UK tax, NI, and pension legislation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of payroll professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with payroll software.
