Geotechnical Engineer - Join Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at EVera Recruitment. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting and managing ground engineering tasks on various schemes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough desk studies, site inspections, and surveys to gather essential data and insights.
  • Plan and supervise ground investigation fieldwork to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection.
  • Prepare detailed laboratory testing schedules to facilitate the analysis of collected samples.
  • Monitor gas and groundwater levels to assess site conditions and potential hazards.
  • Prepare factual reports on geotechnical and contaminated land findings, contributing to the interpretation and assessment process.
Requirements:
  • A good degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, or Civil Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good understanding of Information Technology (IT) systems and processes.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize your workload.
  • Excellent written English and verbal skills to effectively communicate, with a keen eye and high level of attention to detail.
  • At least one-year post-graduate experience in a similar or skill-transferrable role is desirable.
