Experienced Automotive Technician Required

Skinners of Rye, a reputable independent automotive dealership, is on the lookout for a qualified and skilled Vehicle Mechanic/MOT tester. The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Comprehensive servicing and mechanical repairs
  • Conducting MOT repairs
  • Proficient fault diagnosis and repair
  • Adhering to high-quality standards in all tasks

The ideal applicant should hold a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 certification in Automotive Servicing & Repair or an equivalent qualification, complemented by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. While a Class 4 MOT License is a plus, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with contemporary diagnostic tools and a strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship are essential attributes.

Candidates must possess a clean, full UK driving license, their own transportation, and necessary tools (specialist tools will be provided). Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 annually
