Job Purpose:

To deliver exceptional physiotherapy care to patients within the inpatient and outpatient departments, ensuring a high standard of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and wellbeing, developing effective treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care, promoting patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in physiotherapy, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Promote a culture of excellence in health and safety, security, and equality, diversity, and rights.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Apply technology to measure, monitor, and treat patients, ensuring accurate and effective care.
  • Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and take responsibility for preventing and controlling them, as agreed with the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy)
  • Be respiratory and on-call competent
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of patients
