Job Purpose:
To deliver exceptional physiotherapy care to patients within the inpatient and outpatient departments, ensuring a high standard of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and wellbeing, developing effective treatment plans to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care, promoting patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in physiotherapy, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Promote a culture of excellence in health and safety, security, and equality, diversity, and rights.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Apply technology to measure, monitor, and treat patients, ensuring accurate and effective care.
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and take responsibility for preventing and controlling them, as agreed with the line manager.
Requirements:
- Hold a Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy)
- Be respiratory and on-call competent
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of patients
