Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join our team in a Haematology and Blood Transfusion laboratory in East London. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar laboratory setting and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of haematology and blood transfusion principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting laboratory tests and analyses to diagnose and monitor haematological conditions
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including analyzers
- Collaborating with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
- Providing expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on haematological matters
- HCPC registration
- 6 months' experience working in a Haematology/Blood Transfusion laboratory
- Experience using laboratory equipment, including analyzers
- Daily payroll
