Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity Camps, we're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Leader to join our team. As an Early Years Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Early Years programme, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for our 4- and 5-year-old campers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high-quality Early Years programme, meeting all EYFS requirements.
  • Prepare and lead sports, arts, and crafts activities, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Direct and support a team of Early Years staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure Ofsted requirements are met, and maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Manage administrative duties, such as sign-in/out and registration.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead a group of children.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
  • Pro-active and conscientious team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations.
