Litigation Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Keoghs LLP. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated and Low Value Litigated Motor Claims for our esteemed Corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Efficiently manage a caseload of motor claims, from inception to settlement, with a focus on pre-litigated and litigated matters up to £25k.
- Identify cases ripe for early litigation, with high prospects of success and low risk.
- Deliver consistently high levels of service to our clients, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate data records, ensuring smooth operation of the claims process.
- Engage and communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise updates on claim progress.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Proven experience in ULR RTA Handling, with a strong understanding of pre-litigated matters and litigation knowledge.
- Full claim cycle experience, from initial quantum assessment to liability investigation and settlement negotiation.
- Excellent technical skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to make clients feel heard and valued.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support new starters.
- Litigation Claims Handling experience, with a strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
- Loss of Use/Loss of Standing Charge knowledge, with the ability to apply this expertise in a claims handling context.
- Junior mentorship experience, with the ability to share knowledge and expertise with junior team members.
