Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

About the Role
As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our global warehouse and delivery network. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to maintain and optimize our equipment, ensuring high levels of safety and equipment availability to our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to maintain and optimize equipment, ensuring high levels of safety and equipment availability.
• Work with the site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
• Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required.
• Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties, and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
• Work with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at Amazon.
• Experience in employee and performance management.
• Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards.
• Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
